The Challenge
MyVault needed to improve user engagement and trust. The initial interface was functional but lacked the polish required to reassure users handling financial transactions. Furthermore, the payment gateway integration needed to be rock-solid to ensure deposits and withdrawals succeeded without friction, and overall app performance was sluggish.
What I Built
- Led a comprehensive UI/UX redesign across more than 25 screens, introducing smoother micro-animations and intuitive workflows.
- Integrated reliable payment gateways via REST APIs, handling edge cases and network failures gracefully.
- Introduced a new "savings challenge" feature to boost user engagement and gamify the savings experience.
- Optimized the app's performance by refining the Riverpod state management and reducing unnecessary widget rebuilds.
